Founded in 1997 by John K. Harris, JK Harris & Company is the nation's largest tax representation firm, dedicated to representing taxpayers and resolving their tax problems. Our tax team of more than 450 employees includes CPAs, Attorneys, Enrolled Agents and Certified Financial Planners. Our Consultants are available to meet with consumers, by appointment only, in over 425 locations in 46 states. JK Harris & Company is based in Charleston, SC.

John K. Harris realized the great need for taxpayers to have adequate representation against the IRS. John Harris obtained his undergraduate degree (cum laude) in 1976 and Masters in Accounting and Tax from the University of South Carolina in 1977. Prior to founding JK Harris & Company in 1997, Mr. Harris spent 20 years in both industry and private practice as a CPA. He retired his CPA certificate in 1999 and has put his full energy into building JK Harris & Company into the nation's largest tax representation firm.
