JK Harris Moving Corporate Headquarters to Goose Creek, SC
GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – While millions of Americans across the country celebrate the Fourth of July holiday, JK Harris and Company will be making a big change.
JK Harris, the nation’s largest tax representation firm, is moving its corporate headquarters from North Charleston, SC, to Goose Creek, SC, over the holiday weekend. The new corporate address, beginning Monday, July 6, will be 208 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC, 29445.
“The new facility has more square footage, which will give our employees a better working environment," said Josh Baker, Executive Vice President of Client Advocacy. “And having more space means more opportunities for our company to expand and grow and serve our clients.”
JK Harris has served more than 250,000 clients since it began operations in 1997.
The new building itself was a big reason for the move, as well. It is a “semi-hardened” facility that is equipped with a generator for an uninterrupted power supply. Being semi-hardened, it will be better able to withstand area thunderstorms, as well as the hurricane season.
JK Harris’ new home is also large enough to accommodate JK Harris and Company, LLC, JK Harris Small Business Services, and JK Harris Advisors.
“The building was has plenty of parking for employees and allows us to have a consolidated facility, with everyone in one building,” said Baker. “We’re very excited. It’s a cost saving move because we will be able to focus more resources on client satisfaction.”
Also, the move will not create any delay in services to clients. All correspondence that is sent to the North Charleston address will be forwarded to the Goose Creek address by the U.S. Postal Service, and other delivery agencies, such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
It is also important to note all current phone numbers for JK Harris will remain the same.
“We feel this move is a step in the right direction to keeping our employees happy and our clients even happier,” Baker said.
