Who Is An Enrolled Agent?
EA means Enrolled Agent...and Every Advantage. An EA is an individual who has demonstrated technical competence in the field of taxation in order to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service. EAs are the only professionals who receive their license to practice from the federal government. Unlike attorneys and CPAs, who may or may not choose to work on tax issues, all EAs are focused on matters of taxation.
